Alaska Trip Day 3
I forgot to mention that yesterday we ran into a pack of Muskox. They were fighting and bunting each other. It was awesome. And right before we put things up for the night we shot an Arctic Hare. Its been a great trip so far.
This morning the guys woke up early and sat on the mountain watching the tundra. They saw 11 cow moose. When I woke up they were about ready to pack up camp. They decided that they were going to focus on hunting Grizzly Bear and they would find moose in between.
We took off for our new destination. On the way we saw some Muskox & Ptarmigan. Brett shot 2 Ptarmigan. And shortly after that we decided to go back to the church and set up our base camp from there.
My dad cooked up the Hare and the Ptarmigan. The guys loved it. It was a little greasy for me.

You shot an artic hare!?! How could you!!! ;) Are you going to bring it home & have it stuffed for Tessa? That'd be cool :)

Shawn wants you to ask the guys if when they were watching the tundra, if it went anywhere. LOL
